HEIMANN Barbarossa 2022
Szekszárd
We have been working on Barbár’s little sibling for five years, and it brings great joy to the entire family that we can finally present the first vintage of Barbarossa. Over the past decade and a half, we have refined a bold and unique blend with Barbár. Now, we’re applying that experience to create a fresher, younger wine. The most significant difference between Barbár and Barbarossa is that while the former is based on the exposed, windy, early-ripening vineyards of the Porkoláb Valley, which produce intensely flavorful and concentrated wines, Barbarossa is mostly made from grapes grown in the Bati Kereszt vineyard. This more sheltered, later-ripening area results in fresher fruit flavors, a slightly lighter structure, and faster maturation.
Cabernet franc, 26% Kékfrankos, 15% Tannat, 6% Merlot, 5% Syrah
