HEIMANN & FIAI Szívem Kékfrankos 2020
Baranya-völgy dűlő, Szekszárd
Szívem Kékfrankos is a parcel selection from the Baranya Valley, as one-third of the vines were replanted between 2008 and 2009. The yield from the old vines is slightly deeper, silkier, and richer in flavor, and our goal during winemaking is to preserve these qualities and transfer them into the bottle. We use spontaneous fermentation and whole clusters during the process, followed by aging for a year in traditional large wooden barrels. My Heart delights us with its beautiful, pure fruity notes. It develops wonderfully in the glass and is truly a long-distance runner of a wine.
