One of my parents’ signature blends from the mid-2000s, made from Cabernet Franc and Sagrantino. This is our most age-worthy wine, bottled after a year and a half of aging, followed by extended bottle aging. We detect balsamic notes and a slightly floral aroma. It’s a wine meant for slowing down, perfect for evening relaxation. It pairs well with richer foods, as the fat softens the ample tannins.

A truly unique wine with a distinctive flavor profile, pronounced tannins, yet still fruity and capable of long aging. We first created it in 2007, blending the rare, intensely spicy sagrantino grapes with an exceptional cabernet franc and a touch of vibrant bluefrank. The name Franciscus pays homage to our ancestors: out of the ten generations of the Heimann family in Szekszárd, seven were named Ferenc, previously known as Franciscus.
