After carefully selecting the overripe, shriveled clusters, the must was fermented in small vats and stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in 300, 500, and 1,000-liter wooden barrels for two years. The final blend of Szekszárd Grand was created after multiple rounds of barrel selection. It was bottled in 2015 and released to the market in 2017.
